Restart Laptop to Connect to Wireless Printer

2779 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  hcltouch
I don't know if this is the appropriate forum to post this under, but I hope I can get some help! My mom has a Toshiba laptop that she got for Christmas and a lexmark all-in-one wireless printer. Every time she tries to print something to the wireless printer, the item just stays in the printing queue. However, once she restarts her laptop all of a sudden the laptop and printer seem to communicate, and the printer always starts printing whatever was in her queue from the previous time. How can we solve this problem, so when she wants to print something it automatically starts printing, and she doesn't have to restart her computer every time to print stuff. Please help! Thank you!

The service which is responsible for printing should be set to "Automatic".
Follow the below mentioned steps:
Click on Start button
click on Run
in the Run box, type services.msc
In the services window, look for the service for Lexmark printer and change it to Automatic
Close the window and restart the computer
It will surely help.....
