Resource conflict at memory address Dx0000000 - DxFFFFFFF

I purchased a brand new Sapphiretech Radeon 9250 128 ddr 64 bit graphic card which create a resource conflict at the memory address: Dx0000000 - DxFFFFFFF (error code 12).
My pc has CPU: Intel 731 MHz
SO: 2000 Pro SP4
CHIPSET: VIA VT82C693/A APOLLO P20 PLUS
BIOS: AWARD ver 03/21/2001-693A-596B-867-2AGLGGNC-00
MOBO: GIGABYTE MOD GA-6VXE7+ FA
AGP: 1.0 (I think)
Power supply: 250 watts
RAM 128 MB SDRAM.
I tried all I could to solve this nightmare: I upgrade the bios to the latest version, the via chipset driver to 4in1, unistalled the old graphic card driver, installed the new ati driver, installed directx 8.1, installed the s.o. few times but nothing seems to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance for any help. Martinaic.

Hello And Welcome to TSF,

I would check the AGP Compatibility charts here and see if i had a problem there.
Thanks for the hint but I already checked this at http://www.playtool.com/pages/agpcompat/agp.html.
So it seems that my card is a "Universal AGP 3.0 Card" which should work properly on the "AGP 3.3V Motherboard" that I have.
