You do know that interrupts can be shared on the PCI bus, correct? I'm confused about the statement "taking resources from", what exactly are you talking about?

If you want to disable the motherboard I/O devices, check the BIOS, that's normally where you kill them off.

Oh, even though the devices are integrated into the MB, that doesn't render them non-PnP, just embedded. :)

Most integrated video nowadays is AGP, so another AGP card isn't an option. OTOH, I've popped a PCI video into one with a build-in video and gotten both to run...
