[resolved] xp home to pro upgrade, cant create adsl modem connection

xp home to pro upgrade, cant create adsl modem connection

i have upgraded xp home to, xp pro
in the new connection wizard i can go through sellecting connect to the internet,set up my connection manually, but i then need to sellect "connect using a broadband connection..." but this along with "connect using a dial up modem" is greyed out so it isnt possible

only "connect using a broadband connection that is always on" is avaliable

any ideas?

check your device manager to check for a conflict regarding your modem.
yellow signs
if there is, you will need to uninstall it and reinstall the device with your driver disk

the drivers are the latest as downloaded from work
people have suggested sp2 but the version i have will not run, i have also downloaded a new version and tried that
any ideas?
