WinXP boot stops at blue graphic screen after drive copy - HELP!

I am trying to move my nephews C drive from an old 20Gb drive to a 120Gb drive. The WinXP on the original C drive is 100% legit and activated. I am using DriveImage 7.03 (with the latest update), and tried to use the "Copy Drive" feature. I selected "Copy MBR", as well as make the drive bootable. I even created a 20Gb partition to see if that would help, but no matter what I do, when I try and boot the PC after the copy, Windows begins to start.

I get the WinXP logo with the green "cylon slider bar", then the mouse appears, then a blue screen (NOT a blue screen of death text screen), the one with the dark blue bars at the top and the light blue center with the color WinXP logo off to the right .

The PC just hangs there. If I put the original drive back in, the PC boots fine.

I have used DI in the past without problems, but that was a while ago.

Can anyone help, or do I have to do a reinstall?

THANKS

Go to the website of the manufacturer of the 120Gb drive and download their utility software for cloning the drive.
