Try pinging and tracert to yahoo and see what you get.

[resolved] Slow connection all of a sudden....
Slow connection all of a sudden....
i was playing World of Warcraft, and logged out for sometime then tried logging back in an the lag showed up as over 14000+ ms. yea not 1400 but 14000 thousand. so i logged out, and checked my network connection. and it was very slow. i tried downloading something and i was only downloading at 6kb/s and i have DSL i forget what the up/downstream are but i know i can usually download something at 16--180kb/s or sumthin like that. i tried power cycling the modem, cleanign out junk files. and such. not sure how this happened again. i have the IPv4 installed not IPv6 protocall so i know that's not it. i only have AIM and XFire running and even with them running and not runing the "lag" seems to persist.
what should i do now?

nope nevermind it hit me again. what do i need to do? i know it's not the ethernet cable. that works fine, i even tried using USB connection instead of Ethernet. and it still has the same results what do i do?
