Matsonic Ms9127C Producing strange beeps.. cause?

Hello all.

ok here's the fact like i reported matsonic if any1 knows what might be happening.

-

My Matsonic Ms9127c was working fine with One Ram Module 333mhz 256mb. i decided to put an extra memory of 512 mb 400mhz. so i did . Now the Mainboard Beeps One long beep followed by 2 small Bips.

Even with just the original Memory of 256mb 333mhz Alone it Beeps like this and doesnt boot.

Its all well put together as i work in a computer store but have no idea whats the problem. allready changed fsb/reseted bios to see if it was the problem and no luck.

now its on its original form and this is how it always worked but now it isnt working. 1 Long beep followed by 2 small beeps :(

help plz. ty in advance


It uses Award bios.

Welcome to TSF:

I suggest you clear you cmos (see manual) and return it to original config of single stick ram / I dont believe you can run mismatched ram / check your manual >> generally they will tell you which memory slots to use when running unmatched ram but you cant run one stick of 333 and the other 400

Hi. I have the same motherboard on one of my computers and it does the same thing. All I do is press in the video card or wiggle it and the beeping goes away when I reboot. I find that everytime the tower is moved or a cable is moved I get the alarm. It seems the motherboard may have a weak video card connection. If I could figure out how to replace the AGP card slot without damging the motherboard I'd replace it with a good one. Other than that put up with this annoyance or get a better board. I prefer ASUS M/B's Good luck!
