[resolved] complete system info (how to) ?

complete system info (how to) ?

Hi all,

Once upon a time, I used some winxp/built-in diagnostic utillity, to get complete (hard & soft) system information (manufacturers, versions etc).

Now, I cann't remember how to get it. :4-dontkno

A more complete analysis can be derived from Everest, a program from Lavalys software.
I think you are talking about System Information.
It's in All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Information.

I know that, but my friend don't have Everest or any other diagnostic tool installation, and needs some MB & modem info.

i was tying to mention this too, but my internet connection robbed me :)
That's it, probably.

But, I'm surprised it don't show MB but just chipset type & manufacturer info.

As posted earlier Download and install Everest Home ITS FREE
You might try downloading the program called, CPU-Z-123. It gives alot of information on your memory,cpu, mobo and cache. It comes in handy when you need specific info.
