Hi guys,

I just bought Magicka (amazing game by the way!) after checking that my computer could run it well enough on Can You Run It, where it comfortably beat the minimum required specs (no recommended specs are included on that test for some reason).

However, the game refuses to run smoothly except on an 800x600 resolution, when my laptop is 1600x900 normally. I don't mind running the game with low graphics, but surely a relatively low-end game like Magicka should be running smoothly at the resoution the PC was designed with in mind? Am I missing something here, or should I just resign myself to this?

Cheers for any help,
Joe

EDIT: I think I've included all the correct system specs and done the checks discussed in the "Before You Post" sticky thread.

Ohh sorry I did not see that, though once I looked at it I can tell this laptop is not meant for gaming. So what is happening is that your graphics card can't render all the images you see in games all at once which will cause lag on bigger resolutions.
