I am using fedora 7...And when i go to my Display settings--->Hardware...Monitor type is auto configured...and i have searched my manufacturer website..They dont provide drivers for linux.My problem is sometimes i get the resolution of 1024*768 and some times i get the resolution of 800*600...when i get this 800*600 i cant able to see the option 1024*768 in my display settings....

This is my xorg.conf file:

Its a bit hard to reply when you dont state your graphics card.

The problem is either your graphics card is not supported by Fedora or you need to change the X driver from generic vesa to something that your card does understand.
Fedora 7 is a little old, so perhaps an update or distribution upgrade will automatically fix this for you.
