I recently replaced an LCD screen in an HP Omnibook XE2, but upon booting up the screen boots to solid blue(not the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH)but just a blue screen. I connected a CRT to the laptop to verify the video card and the crt works fine. The picture is good, when I reattach the lcd screen it splices the crt image in two causes a split screen. I could not locate a hardware reset switch and I checked the drivers but this is supposedly the OEM for the laptop. Any suggestions?
