Help! I renewed my McAfee subscription a few months ago. I keep getting a message at the right hand side of my screen everytime I turn on my PC or laptop saying that my subscription has expired and I must choose to "renew now" or "renew later". I've tried logging onto my account with McAfee and re-downloading virusscan, but I'm still receiving this prompt each time I reboot my computer.
The problem is getting worse, it seems. I'm noticing a McAfee (busy downloading) symbol in the lower right hand of my screen and when I put my mouse arrow on it, it says that it's downloading updates 25%... but it continues to say this for hours...25%... and when I try to open McAfee at this point, it repeats the opening screen but will not open the program. I have to restart windows to get it to stop.
