Remove Vista Bootloader

Hi all,

Had this 'problem' for some time now. Its not a big issue but it's just been bugging me. I upgraded from XP to Vista, and after installing Vista I kept getting the dual-boot menu. I then removed XP (can't remember how) but I still get the bootloader menu. The only options are 'Boot into Vista' and 'windows recovery console'(?). I can't find any way of stopping this menu appearing. I've searched for the problem and tried the programs 'Easy BCD' and 'VistaBootPro' but there's no option to disable the Bootloader.
If anyone knows how to stop this I'd be grateful.
Thanks in advance.
