Remote Desktop Not Working !

Hey guys

I work out of my office and my home and it is very important that I have remote desktop feature on windows working.

I was told that it was a very simple procedure but i cant get it to work.

I went to this site

and did all the steps on both computers and it is still not working.

my question is that i was told that it might be becasue on both computers i have are setup with a linksys router and thats why it is not working because it would have a problem with the IP since i dont have a static IP.

Can anyone confirm if this is true?

If not, can anyone else suggestion another solution.
