Am i right to say, only VISTA ULTIMATE will have this feature?
Just like only XP Pro.
I ask because i use this feature alot.

Code:
Also, i know i shouldn't say this but.
Vista Ultimate will cost 300GBP+/600USD+ in the UK.
will i be able to use one cd to install on a PC & a Laptop?
I ask because, that would be me spending 600+GBP/1200USD jus for an OS....
(remove if unapropriate here)

it has to be activated and it rechecks it's validity on a regular basis even oem and corporate versions now have to be activated
an annoying part when seaching the ms knowledge base i find i have to log in before i can access it which is pretty frequent seaching for solutions to problems posted

with vista they have the ability to lock down the computer, they said at present they just restricting what it can do
i had a computer brought in with an xp corporate version
with a warning in the task bar, when you clicked on it,it said the key had been generated and was not a genuine key issued by microsoft
they bought a genuine copy but they brought it in to have the key changed so they did not have to reformat
when you try to activate the second copy it will show the key has been used and it will not activate
so they are definately weeding out the illeagal copies

man, lol
MS must have huge DB. all these keys stored.
I will still give it a try and if it locks up my laptop, il purchase a 2nd copy.
(im going to see if they only detect keys widely distributed, hopeful thinking but worth a try)
