Using small business server 2003. I set up a new user on the server manager. How do I get that new user the ability to access via remote desktop access? I tried following instructions in help session but they are asking me to click on items in the computer manager that do not in there.

Thanks

Ray

If you are operating on a domain you may need to configure the user access, chances are you can edit this locally. Try editing this configuration below, if that doesn't work let me know.

Local Path:
Control Panel > Administrator Tools > Local Security Policy > Security Settings > Local Policies > User Rights Assignments > "Allow Logon through Terminal Services"

Add the user to this list.

If you've permitted the user through newhouse's instructions, but for some reason the user can not connect to the server and you are behind a router with NAT, forward port 3389 (for RDP) to the server. This is a common problem with some people that you may face, so I've thrown it in.
