:wave: Thought I'd resurrect this old thread. I did buy a new computer back then.

But I like XP better than Vista. I'm thinking about buying just a new hard drive and installing it.

Question is: XP came pre-installed on it. Can I just run the recovery discs I made for it to install XP and the programs that came with it? :sigh:

I guess I should add this machine is an old Presario SR1103WM, I bought new in 2004. It does have the Windows OS sticker on it still.
