Reinstalled Windows- Won't boot up(RESOLVED)

I tried to reinstall Windows Xp on my computer. It installed smoothly, except it will not go any further than a black screen with a blinking cursor. :sigh: It does nothing else. I've tried restarting. I've tried re-reinstalling. I've tried to see if there was anything in setup that could help me. But nothing works. I press random keys, and all I get is a loud beep. :4-dontknow:
Maybe a little history on the installation disc would help?

I bought it on Ebay for $83 after I foolishly installed a Linux OS over my original Windows installation. I have used this disc once previously. It is indeed a genuine Windows OS installation disc. I really hope someone can help me. I'm tempted to heave the machine out my second story window. :upset:

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I used a program called Super FDISK to format my HD. I had a partition on there that I wanted to erase, so I cleared my entire disk.

If your issue not yet resolve, why not hit the DELETE/ F1 to enter system BIOS and load the Default BIOS Settings and try running setup again.

I wiped and reinstalled a final time and it worked. :heartlove: I'm so happy!

Did you install this on another system? Did it come with a license? How many computers did you install this license on?
You can install that license on one machine only, unless it was a retail version but for the price you paid I am betting it is not. If it was a retail version then the machine it was previously installed on has to be wiped/formatted.
