Reinstallation of Matlab problems

I had the new version of matlab installed yesterday but after having left my computer unattended today my computer shut down from lack of power and had to be rebooted. A repair was recommended upon reboot. After the computer was rebooted, I found matlab uninstalled unfornunately.

I tried to reinstall the program but the setup.exe would prompt the user control to continue but thereafter the program would not proceed to install. Could i please have help with this :wave: I have no idea why the program won't install. No remnants of the previously installed program are left I checked the control panel.
