Since then, I changed my HDD for a Samsung MZ-7TD250 with 250 GB;
Specs - Solid State Drives MZ-7TD250 | Samsung Memory & Storage

And added an extra monitor, a DELL E228WFP;
Dell E228WFP Display specs

I guess it's about time to at least change my graphics card, but perhaps also my motherboard and power supply?

Hope you can help!

I would wait for something to malfunction before changing. Your setup isn't bad.

If the system is still working with out any flaws....keep it as a back up.

I would build a brand new one....and go with the new Z170 mobo, DDR4 Ram, new intel Skylake CPU, new GTX 970 GPU and then just move the rest of your components over.

Agreed, the only thing I would think about changing would be the video card (if you needed additional performance) which could always be moved to a future build.
Alright, but yeah the video card is underperforming at the moment - aside of that the rest works fine as is. Can you recommend any good ones around or below €200?

The system works alright, except the computer has a hard time playing movies or streams while doing anything else.

I think your suggestions look very nice, albeit a tad expensive. I doubt the hours I'll be using the computer will justify spending that much money
