hi....hope somebody can help me here...
i wanna know where should start if i wanna reformat my seagate 40gd HD.
i heard something about the fdisk,or bootdisk..do i need that??
and kinda curious abt the NTFS and FAT32..which 1 is better
and anything i should look out for when i reformatting?
please advice

system specs
AMD 2500xp
512mb
running on win XP pro

win xp disks are bootable...

you wont need anything that isnt on that disk, although other software like partition magic might be more desireable to you.


but as for which format to use...

ntfs is supposed to be better.
