ok first off i'm not sure if this belongs to the game section or the linux section. I choose linux cuz the game is part of linux :winking:

so the problem is... in rhl... there's a group of games which are "very 3d"... (by that i mean UNLIKE snake or checkers and stuff, but REAL GRAPHICAL games...)

I have geforce 4 ti4400 for video card and 512mb for memory and p4 2.2 ghz for cpu and viewsonic pf790 for monitor and 7 gb for the partition that linux is in. (and yes i also have keyboard and mouse :D )

but the problem is... the games are VERY VERY VEEERRRRRYYYY laggy/jerky when i play it... it seems as if my video card wasn't even there! seems to me like the game runs solely on memory and cpu and monitor... WHAT'S GOING ON!?!?!??! :upset: :upset: :upset:
(i'm pretty sure i configured all the hardware setting correctly when i installed rhl v9.0)

any help/suggestion will be greatly appreciated :tongue2:

The default X windows driver "nv" doesn't provide OpenGL or 3D support, which is why its jerky, I'd suggest going to www.nvidia.com and installing the latest driver for your video card :) And yep its supported under Linux I'm running one of the same type myself! Good luck.
