Hello i'm running Windows 7.

I have a bit of a concern here, i deleted a couple files with similar names and then i restored one of the folders, leaving one left in the bin. I went back in the bin a few seconds after closing it and the file i left in there was gone.

I'm not sure what happened exactly, I would like to know what any1 reading this thinks.

Was it a glitch in the windows OS and it just vanished?
Perhaps an issue with my hard drive (almost brand new, highly doubt a fault). Maybe it restored itself when i clicked the other one due to similar names? I honestly have no idea im just poking at my own creative theories haha

I know problems happen all the time with computers, and the file wasn't important, just hoping one of my important files isn't next to randomly go missing lol

Yeah i did mate. The file name for both the files were "ATI" so its hard to tell if the second file was restored too but im pretty certain it wasn't restored. I guess what i want to know now is if the file did vanish from the bin, if it's something to worry about. I'm hoping my computer is ok and it's just a bug.

Just to add on to this thread, i do notice my hard drive or disk drive or something makes a slight click or it sounds like something is a adjusting whenever my laptop fires up, it sounded normal to me cause it is consistent when i boot, but in case it's related ill chuck it in here.
