Hello, I keep trying to run a file backup on my computer and Windows keep saying that my Recovery Drive is 10 gigs. and is full, how can I enlarge the Recovery Drive: D to maybe 20 gigs. to back everything up?
Your "recovery drive" is a partition on your drive placed there by your computer manufacturer. It is used to completely reinstall your Operating System and the pre-installed programs that came with your computer, wiping out everything else.
However, you can split your current partition using a program like Acronis Disk Director or Partition Magic. It will resize your current partition and allow you to backup your files on a new one.
