i got a Advent 7204. Recently i discovered that i got a Trojan Horse on my laptop, it has been affecting my laptops speed,etc. Now my avg anti virus has quarantineed it, but i wanna get rid of the actual trojan and get my laptops performance and speed back.I was told to go back to the factory settings.How do i do that.I have no recovery cd or anythin.Thanx

check the papaerwork that came with the computer on how to make the recovery disks and how to run the recovery

Unfortunately i have no more papers for it.It looked it up online, and it says that i can enter the advanced options menu by continuesly pressin F8,however it is not working.
