Until now I did not know the perils of flashing the bios on a video card. Anyway recently I flash my bios on a radeon hd4870, and now I cannot see anything when I turn on my computer. I have tried to blind flash my card back via a flash drive, but it didn't work. I am now wondering if my video card is even working.

Is there a way to test if my video card only has bad bios? If not can someone point me to a detailed explanation of blind flashing so I can see if I screwed up somewhere?

I think you just made a new paper weight. Typically 99.9% of video cards do not need the bios flashed. Most people don't do it because this typically happens.
