Hi all,

If someone could help me with this problem it would be much appreciated. I recently did a system recovery on my Sony Vaio laptop. I thought I had backed up everything properly onto external hard drive, but it looks like i didnt back up emails ( i backed up outlook express from 'program files' thinking the emails were stored there). Is there any way of recovering these emails from my laptop after a system recovery?

The chances of getting the files back are slim, very slim.
First of all, you have to stop using the laptop.
Then take the HDD out, hook it up to another computer with a working operating system.
Run recovery tools from that computer's OS.
