Hi guys?

I deleted an account on a windows xp SP2 Dell PC.

I had forgotten to backup one crucial file on the desktop.

Anybody knows how I can recover a deleted account?

When files are deleted from a hard drive, they're not actually gone until they're overwritten. You may have a chance at getting SOME of it using a program called Recuva... www.recuva.com -- but Windows does not keep those files unless if you said "Yes, Keep Files," when removing the account.
