Looking to spend around 50 dollars, but no more than 60 (USD).

System is a 3200+ athlon 64, 1 hdd, 1 dvdrom, 3/4 gb of ram, and a 300W ALLIED PSU (12A rating on 12v rail)

Thanks for your replies in advance

Lite gaming. Mostly older RTS games like command and conquer (generals and before), battle for middle earth 1, age of empires, etc.

Not looking to play the highest games, or play with high details. nothing fancy

This is what happened. my brothers computer was running a socket A 2400+ and an agp mx440. However, his cpu fried, and socket A cpu's are very expensive so I gave him my old parts that were laying around (listed above).

So technically the computer is going to have a new mb, cpu and video.

I think it should be alright. There are people posting reviews that have 300w dell psu's and arent having issues.

Just wanted a 2nd opinion,

Thanks

Good point pharoah. I'm also looking at the 7600gs. They use the exact same amount of power from what I can tell and the 7600gs is miles faster.
