hi there, I have done a freash intall of vista to clear our a few bugs and bios seems to have gone strange. for some reason it wont boot into vista without the cd in the drive and the priority order set to CDROM first. It gives a message about "intel boot agent" if the cd is not in. could someone please give me some recommeded bios settings to sort this?

my set up is as follows please note I have NO floppy drive and the bios seems to think I have one. could really do with sorting this.

Sound like the install didn't complete did you full format the hard drive or
quick format?

Be sure in the boot area you have the Boot Priority set to:
CDRom - 1st
Hard Drive - 2nd
Hard Drive Priority needs to have the hard drive listed FIRST in the boot area.
Then, go to the Bios Main Menu and set the Floppy to Disabled.

tried this mate it didnt make any difference.
for some reason the vista install isnt listed in the startup repiar. it asks me to manually select the drivers????
I am sure I full formatted. it was a fresh install over a previous version of vista\.
