Hello, am workin on a web application (using PHP as a language) which takes log files to generate reports or queries and display reports. Well, at certain points I have to create the database dynamically since I don't know ahead of time what are the log files (I have some sample files) but the application is meant to be generic. The problem is that some log files have headers such as "authentication-code" and when trying to insert it as a field (attribute name) in a table in the database, mysql is not recognizing the "dash" character and I can't escape it since its not one of the escape characters. So, I would be so thankful if anyone could help me in solving that problem. Thanks in advance:smile:
