On dated 15th May 2009,my desktop P.C. ,loaded with Windows XP hanged.It was forcibly shutdown & again restarted. On monitor screen,it came with a message-"Reboot and select proper device or insert Boot Media in selected boot device". How to fix this problem? The instruction may please be given in a simpler way, so that the problem be solved easily

check the drive is listed in the bios

check the date and time is correct,if it has lost the correct time replace the cmos battery
