HI guys,

I have a XP PC but unfortuately due to persistent son who create a user name and password that cannot be cracked.....
When the system is switch on it comes up with user name and password...can I re-install as I have the installation discs...my question is do I insert the CD's and a window appears asking me for additional options ..I know in doing so it will erase any existing files...is it as easy as that....

Thanks in advance...

Hi Mstevo

Put the windows disk in pc, restart pc and the windows installation will begin. Follow steps to install. You will be given the option choose a drive to load windows to. Here choose the drive you want, and press enter (i think, but wil tell you) then choose format (not quick but full, but i doint think it says full. Just clik the one that dont say quick). This will then take about 40 mins from here.

Hi again

As an afterthought, if your pc doesnt start up windows installation, restart pc, press "DELETE" as it starts up, this will take you into bios. From here go to "BOOT" section with arrow keys. Clik enter on "first boot" and highlight CD/DVD Drive and enter again. F10 to exit and save and reboot again. This time windows should start loading.

Good Luck
Jason
