Every time I boot up my vaio s660 (win xp h) I get this little white square in the middle of the screen with letters RC in the center. It goes away, sometimes for good when I right or left click on it. Any ideas? I scanned it with everything I could come up with.

Is that Vista? RC stands for Release Candidate, which is basically geek speak for beta. Not necessarily saying thats what this is.....

windows puts that info in the bottom right hand corner not in the middle of the screen

Thanks guys, I'll try security next.
I am running pretty much same software on my vaio tx770 with no problems.
