I just recently ran the updater for Windows (I don't usually do automatic updates) and also updated my HP software for my printer. I'm not sure if these are the cause of the problem or not, but the problem is that whenever I run a full window application, such as a game, I randomly get switched to the desktop and there's a blank program on the Task Bar that appears then disappears in a second. It happens every 10minutes or so and it's becoming seriously annoying. I also notice the blank program at the beginning of Windows starting up. I ran several virus scans with Ad-ware and Spybot, as well as an online virus scanner. I have HiJackThis if you'd like to see my log file. Also whenever I check the Task Manager with Ctrl-Alt-Delete I notice new applications running in the background, I checked online if any are virus's and they all seem to be part of Windows. I'm assuming they are from the recent updates I ran.
Anyways, any help will be greatly appreciated.
