This must be hardware... but wait! All of the hardware is brand new!!

6 core AMD machine with eyefinity 6, 16 GB ram, has random BSODS (pagefault_in_non_paged_area, memory_management, even an old school "ntfs.sys" related BSOD).

Information answered:

· OS - Vista/ Windows 7 ? · x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64 · What was original installed OS on system? clean install of Win7 Ultimate 64 (no previous, custom built) · Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? full retail · Age of system (hardware) · Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? Yes, I have just reloaded the OS today to attempt to resolve this issue. Same random BSODS. · CPU - AMD Phenom II X6 1055T · Video Card Visiontek Radeon HD 6870 · MotherBoard Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 AM3+ AMD 970 · Power Supply - brand & wattage OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular PSU, 80 plus rated · System Manufacturer My husband · Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom) N/A

Mu husband builds hundreds of computers, he owns a business doing this type of thing. I'm starting to do some web design work myself, and he doesn't have much time to address this issue without it taking away from the family, so hopefully I can resolve it myself. : )

I've attached the necessary files.

Thank you very much!

All memory corruption. It is either bad RAM or a bad driver.

Let's start with the driver

Enable driver verifier - http://www.techsupportforum.com/for...-windows-7-and-vista-bsod-related-473665.html

Code:
AODDriver2.sys Wed Jun 15 04:38:35 2011 (4DF86F8B)
AMD Overdrive has caused problems in the past. Please remove
AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center.
Please uninstall the AMD OverDrive program as it can cause BSOD's on your system.
If it's the stand-alone app, uninstall it via Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program
If it's in the AMD VISION Engine Control Center, you can uninstall it using the AMD uninstall tool (or uninstall the entire AMD VISION Engine Control Center application through Control Panel

If the device remains a problem in perfmon /report, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Uninstall". Reboot for changes to take affect.
I see you have Driver Genius installed. I would not recommend using that to download drivers.

I'm having this same problem. not random, once I apply the first set of MS updates after fresh win 7 install I consistently get the BSOD generally when I try to copy something. I will try the things mention in the response but am wondering if anyone has had any success figuring this out. I'm running similar configuration, GA-970A-D3+, AMD FX 8150, 16GB RAM, CORSAIR 120 GB FORCE GT SERIES SATA III SSD, ATI RADEON HD 6450 1GB
