Random BSoD, varying parameters (Moved from BSOD)

2092 Views 10 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  jcgriff2
Good morning,

My computer is old and has become increasingly impatient with me over the past year. But I don't have anyone to help me with it anymore and the BSoDs are more frequent now. I try to research how to deal with them, but the past 3 have all had different reasons:
Bad Pool Header 0x00000019
blank OxC0000095
Driver IRQL Not Less or Equal 0x000000D1
There may have been others before these 3 but I have only just lately begun to write the information down from the BSoD.

I use Windows XP. There seems to be something like 81 files in the Minidump folder coursing over the last 3 years. I'm surprised this thing is still kickin.
Please let me know what information you need.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Random BSoD, varying parameters

I don't use Windows 7 or Vista so I didn't think that post would apply to me. Should I still download those files even though I have XP?

Thanks again.
Re: Random BSoD, varying parameters

Oh, sorry about that. This section is meant for Windows Vista/7 crashes. Instead navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump, zip all of the files up and attach them to your next post.
Oops sorry about that!
Attached is the file. Please let me know if it does not work, I'm not the best with computers. Thanks. =]

I've had a couple since last posting so I am putting up a new zip folder just in case you need it. It's never BSoD'd this many times in one day so I'm attaching the most recent Minidump.
Thanks =]

Hi -

87 BSODs dating back to June 2009. Unknown hardware failure is the likely cause.

Remove old version AVG - AVG Removal - sysnative.com - MVP

Reboot upon completion. Install MSE - http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx

Run memtest86+ - http://www.techsupportforum.com/2863029-post5.html

I removed AVG then rebooted the computer. Then I downloaded the MSE file, but my computer is saying it's an invalid Win32 Application. So I can't go any further. Anything I might be doing wrong here?
Thanks again.
Thank you. The second link for the MSE worked fine.
I am completely lost on the Memtest however. Am I supposed to DL one of these files:

Because my computer does not have the correct program it seems to open any of them. Sorry for the trouble and thank you for helping.
