Hey got a stupid question...I purchased a intel extreme series dp67bg. And a intel coreI7-2700k cpu. And 12gb ddr3 1333mhz triple channel memory.
My question is being that ram is triple chandler and mobo is only dual channel could that be the reason why I am getting 2-3 bsods a day.
The bsod are mostly memory management errors.
If I had another of the same chip to remaining slot will that fix issue. If I remove 1 chip will that fix issue issue.
Does triple channel memory differ in anyway compared to dual channel.
Ps hardware test were comming back fine. Running mem tests got 25 million errors and not even halfway through test. I do not think it was accurate cus memory was brand new .
