I'm getting a ram parity error message in the startup process. The startup will go through the memory check ok then get hungup on a ram parity error message. I haven't installed any new hardware or chips. I did move the ram chips arround to see if there were any bad chips but no luck. I did go into the bios area by pressing the ctrl, alt, esc to activate the bios area to check setting and may have inadvertintly change some setting. Are there any settings in the bios area that can cause a ram parity error message at startup?

thanks, Ed

Welcome to the forums epung....................:D

Have you tried one stick of ram at a time? If you have one bad stick this is the way to weed it out.................
