Hey !

One quick question...
My new RAM memory Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 16GB KIT , it says on packning that is 1600mhz , but speccy shows like this;

16,0 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 667MHz (9-9-9-24)

Why show it 667Mhz? I though it should show like 1600mhz ?

Your RAM is DDR (Double Data Rate). Looking at the DRAM Frequency in CPU-Z, multiply the number x 2 to get the actual speed. 667 x 2 =1334.
If 1600MHz RAM is not on the Mobo's Supported Memory List, the RAM needs to be OC'd to reach it's rated speed.
