I use CPU-Z to find out info on my laptop, toshiba sat.
but problem is like other programs, it detects 256 RAM but if you go to system properties, it only "use" or displays 128 RAM.
my friend says "maybe its split up" but cant explain what the heck that means.
I have no clue where is the missing RAM, can anyone help me explain this?

also, the thing is, you might not want to have that much memory shared...

with 256 megs ram, you prolly wouldn't want to share more than about 32.
