I am working with an hp pavilion m7790y, configured from hp with raid 1, disk 0 failed, and I decided to upgrade to 500GB drives instead of 250GB, I want to use the extra space, but the system will not let me extend the volume.

is there any way to extend the volume if raid is hapening at hardware level,

what guys?... no takers? I thought for sure there was some raid junkie in this forum.

lol, I really do appreciate all the help I get from you guys, you always have great advice, and ideas I haven't thought of.
