Hello All,
I have a Dual SLI Laptop that was built with 2 120g Hard Drives in a RAID 'Stripe' configuration. This Laptop is having some motherboard problems that have resulted in it not even powering up beyond the hardware BIT. I would like to take these Hard Drives out of the computer and place them in an external raid controller so that I can explore these drives and retrieve the important files that I have on them (which were not backed up prior to the crash). I purchased an 'addonics' external RAID enclosure that fits the too drives, but when I get it all assembled it will not let me access the drives without first formatting them, which of course, would destroy all the data I am trying to save.
Anyone have any suggestions???
