(I'm new and I don't know where exactly to post this... Move if this is in the wrong place, please.)

I have a Radeon 9800 Pro video card.

I know my computer is above the minimum requirements for Sims 3. It worked before I replaced my monitor, and after that I started having problems. When I try to play the Sims 3 now, I get an error message reading:
"device 0 cannot run this title. No supported video graphics card detected."

After a ton of fiddling with drivers for the card, I finally looked up a requirements scan for Sims 3 [http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer/10302/ ]. It says:
"Sorry, The Sims 3 will not run on your computer.
* The Game-o-Meter detects that your video card has 64 MB onboard video memory. You need to upgrade to a video card with at least 128 MB onboard video memory."
Something also said that the card doesn't support Pixel Shader 2.0 either.

I know that my video card is 128 MBs. I even downloaded Everest to check.
Buying a new card is not an option because it worked perfectly with my current one.

I need some advice, solutions?
Thanks in advance.
