I wonder if someone can help me out here, first the problme then my spec and item that Ive done so far to correct it.

Problems - After installing the card as per maunfactuers guideline, the first thing I did was to test in 3Dmark, I was and still am getting a checqured board effect in the graphics, also it looks like pixels are being streched (see images in IL2 FB for example)

Now what I have done is to be honest well over the top, I've re-formatted and re-installed WinXP Pro so many time now its getting a joke, then installed my mobo drivers, used the drivers supplied on the CD that came with my 9500, re-installed with Cat version 2.7, 3,1 and 3.2, changed from Open GL to Direct X 8.1 and 9.0a, changed resolution, currently im on 1024x768x32.

Did you try the latest driver for ATI or the lastest patch for that game?

The lates Driver from ATI, cat 3.2..as I said yes that was one I did and stil had the problems. IL2 Forgotten Battles has only been released so no pathc is out yet on this.

One thing I did not know what the f#$%^ a cat 3.2 was so chill,
Alot of new games has problems with ATI, just wait intil they release a new patch for that game or go to there website/forums
and ask maybe another person has the same problem.....

mmmm, yeah thats what Ive been doing all weekend, Ive been a player of IL2 and now FB for over a year now and know most of the flyers.
thanks anyway, but its not just FB, its 3dmark as well!!!!
