I just ordered a HP HPE-450T with a radeon 6450.

I'm having trouble finding any information, especially if/how to get 2 vga monitors and 1 TV (S-video) connected to it. I can't even tell for sure what connectors this card has on the back -- looks like VGA, HDMI and DVI

Question:

Can it do this 2 Vga, and 1 S-Video configuration? If so, what adapters do I need?

If it can only do 2 displays, what adapters do I need for 1 VGA and 1 S-Video TV?

Thanks, I 'm finding this HDMI./DVI/Display port and especially the lack of useful information on the OEM radeon 6450, confusing... :sigh:

Card outputs can vary by brand/model...so you need more information.

Two use 2 VGA monitors, you can use VGA outputs or DVI outputs with a DVI > VGA connector.

For S-Video, you will need a card with S-Video output. Also note that S-Video resolution is 640x480 or sometimes 800x600 depending on the card and TV.

Thanks for the reply.

The specs for the card are here. It claims to have "AMD Eyefinity multi-display technology1
  • Native support for up to 3 simultaneous displays

Are you saying the card may have different connectors depending on what HP asked for? HP says the card has "DVI, HDMI. VGA adapter".

Not very enlightening.

I guess it's saying it has DVI and HDMI, with a DVI-VGA adapter.

Then what's this 'triple display" they're talking about? I thought you needed a DisplayPort for that.
