This site is awesome...

Hello, I have windows xp home addition on one desktop. I have the install disk (full version not upgrade). Someone told me that I am allowed to use this OS on (2) systems in my home. I have a second system that I would like to put it on, and I know that you have to activate it within 30 days. I am having a little trouble understanding the end user license agreement, because it speaks of being able to install on a desktop PC, and a laptop with the same disk, but it doesn't mention 2 desktops. Has anyone done this and had any problems??

Welcome to the board,

I have to say I was unaware of this, I was under the impression that unless you bought extra licenses you could install the single copy on only one system be it Laptop or Desktop....

Who gave you this information?

Read this it explains it somewhat..............

It looks like WinXP on one machine only.

But OFFXP can go on a desktop and a laptop.

At least that's the way I see it......:D
