Thanks, Already have a 450 watt psu, tried that site and comes to ~ 400 watt on 100% cpu and everything so looks good.

does the 400 include the 30%,i would not build that system with less than a top quality 550W+

Neither would I if it was me, however they want cost effective over long term stability yes, stupid I know. As long as it works in their eyes for a number of years, it's fine. I mean at first they were going to buy one from PC World! before I rescued them...
