I have 2 gmail addresses and would like to be able to verify my second gmail address so that I can use it to send emails using that email address.
Please tell me how to do this.

I have asked this question in the google help community but no one has answered that question there. That is why I am asking here.

Simply send an email from one email address to the other. If you receive that email on the other email address, it works.

Now send an email from the other email address back to the original, If you receive that email in your first email address, it also works.

My second gmail address is listed in the secondary email addresses but it is not verified.

After I click verify from the image above this is what I see

I don't get the confirmation email to be able to get the code to verify. This is what I am asking for help with. How do I verify my second gmail address so I can send emails from that address when needed?

I am not able to send emails from my second gmail address without it being verified.

Not sure but, I don't believe I've seen those screens in Gmail.com. What program or website are you using?

I have three Gmail accounts and I've never seen any of those screens either!

Don't believe I've seen them in my Outlook.com nor Proton Mail accounts either.

That screen you say you have not seen is from gmail settings and then clicking on the account and import tab. I am using a dark background which might be why you are not recognizing those screens. I did not show the entire screen.

The second screen I showed is what shows when I clicked on verify on my second gmail address.

Delete (the link right next to Verify) and add it afresh, then try to verify.
