Hay guys, I just received my laptop (Sager np6165) and noticed there is a button that allows you to switch from Uma mode to Optimus mode, but I have almost no idea what that means or how I can use it to help whenever I use my laptop for regular use or gaming.
So my questions
1. I read online somewhere that I should just leave Optimus mode on, because nvidia will decide whether to use igpu or dgpu. Is that true? Should I just leave optimus mode on?
2. When would I ever use UMA mode if Optimus mode automatically switches for you based on the need?
3. Does it really make a significant difference on battery life depending if your using UMA or Optimus mode? (not including gaming, just regular use)
